STEP 1 - CHOOSE A SINGLE:
Simply mail your new CD to us, we will review it and help you select the most radio-ready song on your album to present to DJs. DO NOT SEND MONEY: Your album must be reviewed by our staff first. There is no charge for this stage of the service. Send your CD to:

Important: The "Acoustic Rainbow Bluegrass, Mountain and Old Time Sampler" is a professional service for music directors and radio DJs. It is not sold or marketed beyond our intent to introduce great songs from great artists to supportive radio stations. Nobody can simply "write a check" and get on the Sampler. All CDs and songs must be screened first before placement, and only songs that the producers feel will be accepted by the majority of stations on our mailing list will be put onto the Acoustic Rainbow.
STEP 2 - CONTRACT AND PAYMENT:
ONCE YOUR ALBUM HAS BEEN REVIEWEDand a song accepted onto the Sampler: To add your song to the next volume to of the AR BLUEGRASS RADIO SAMPLER costs $625. Only 16 artists are accepted per sampler which is shipped to approximately 800 radio stations and bluegrass shows and this will include a tracking/airplay report. STEP 3 - PROMOTION, AIRPLAY AND REPORTING
We will work with you to create a 2-3 line text introduction that DJs will use to introduce your song on the air. This is designed to assist radio stations, and not to "market" the album ... that is a different process. WE WILL HELP YOU WITH THIS! This information is placed on the AR BLUEGRASS Sampler jacket, along with your contact information. We will ship the AR Bluegrass Sampler with your song included to all the Bluegrass radio stations and DJs on our mailing list. They will report online or via a post-paid card we include in the mailing to radio. Once DJs hear your song and play it, many will likely contact you and ask that you send in the full CD for airplay. That is a good thing and much cheaper than "shot-gunning" an expensive mailing to stations in a blind manner. We will assemble the airplay reports and send the tracking back to you.
OPTION: Single/Full CD Servicing:
The ACOUSTIC RAINBOW offers a very valuable and cost effective service:
FULL CD SERVICING
to radio stations and DJs that program BLUEGRASS and Old-Time music.
First, a single will be picked from your album and sent on an edition of the ACOUSTIC RAINBOW
BLUEGRASS Sampler. Then, a couple of months later your new CD will be packaged with the very
next edition of the ACOUSTIC RAINBOW Bluegrass Sampler and sent to radio as part of our
music director’s service. This will include servicing to the ENTIRE mailing database ... over 800
stations across America, England, Europe, Russia, South America, Japan and Canada.
Think of the savings: For just $1,995 you get an advance single on the Acoustic Rainbow ... then a
couple months later your actual CD is serviced to those same radio stations. A specially designed
bounce-back card is inluded so the DJ’s can report directly to you for extra copies, interviews, touring
requests and copies of your past musical work.
